We're looking for sound designers who can create, edit, and mix relevant sound effects and music tracks for our academic video lectures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Add[ing] relevant SFX to animations, experiments, and props usage
  • Clean[ing] up dialogue/narration audio
  • Synchroniz[ing] audio with animations and edits
  • Manag[ing] music libraries and sound templates

This role requires:

  • Primary proficiency in Logic Pro, Ableton Live or similar DAWs
  • Proficiency in Audition (Secondary)
  • Experience in syncing sound for educational or documentary content
  • Solid understanding of AI tools and platforms, with the ability to use them for improving productivity and creativity
  • Insert[ion] and adjust[ment] of sound effects for experiment demonstrations, animations, and transitions
  • Collaborat[ion] with video editors, operations, and academics to synchronise music and effects with visuals
  • Experience in compos[ing] relevant, short, catchy, non-intrusive background tracks for videos
  • Mix[ing] and master[ing] voiceovers with music/SFX to ensure clarity and professional sound quality
  • Familiarity with royalty-free music libraries and copyright standards
