Our organization seeks an experienced technical consultant to lead Peoplesoft development and customization efforts.

This role requires a strong understanding of Peoplesoft applications, business requirements, and technology solutions. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and customizing Peoplesoft applications to meet client needs, as well as collaborating with functional teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

We are looking for an expert in Peoplesoft HRMS/Finance with a deep knowledge of PeopleTools 8.x, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, SQR, and BI Publisher.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Peoplesoft upgrades, PUM images, and tools upgrades, as well as strong background in SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.

Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS/Oracle Cloud) is a plus, and the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize Peoplesoft applications to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions
  • Work on PeopleTools, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Workflow, and SQR/BI
  • Handle Peoplesoft upgrades, patches, and migrations
  • Develop and optimize PeopleCode, SQL, and performance tuning
  • Manage system interfaces, integrations (SOAP/REST APIs, third-party tools), and security aspects
  • Support production issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures
  • Mentor junior team members when needed

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of strong technical expertise in Peoplesoft HRMS/Finance
  • Deep knowledge of PeopleTools 8.x, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, SQR, and BI Publisher
  • Experience with Peoplesoft upgrades, PUM images, and tools upgrades
  • Strong background in SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning
  • Experience with Peoplesoft Fluid UI and responsive design preferred
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS/Oracle Cloud) is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment
