Job Title: Performance Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality performance of our software applications.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Analyze: Strong design and analytic skills are crucial for this role. You must be able to analyze complex systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and design effective solutions to improve system performance.
  • Troubleshoot Performance Issues: Use your expertise in performance testing tools and methodologies to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

You have:

  • Education: A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of combined Java and JavaScript development and QA experience with performance tools, along with experience working in continuous deployment tools & methodology, Agile environments, and with JMeter or other test tools.
  • Skills: Strong team and communication skills, good troubleshooting skills, and the ability to learn existing and new applications quickly.

Additionally, you might have experience with:

  • Java, JEE
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Database technologies including Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch
  • Cloud/SAAS Deployment into Google Cloud, AWS and Azure
  • Physical and virtual Networking
  • YML Scripting
  • Working knowledge of performance testing and tuning
  • DevOps tools such as Helm, Harness, Google Cloud Build, Chef, Terraform etc.
  • High volume systems including a working knowledge of performance testing and tuning
  • REST Web Services
  • Working in a scaled agile environment
