About the Role

Shaping student experiences through educational guidance is a pivotal aspect of this position.

Candidates must have industry expertise and knowledge of the course subject area, along with excellent interpersonal skills for this full-time, remote role.

The successful candidate will assist learners enrolled in machine learning, AI, data engineering, data science, and data analytics programs, leveraging their experience as a data engineer or scientist.

This role requires strong time management skills, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring student inquiries, providing clear guidance on complex assignments, offering prompt feedback, and suggesting course improvements to enhance content delivery.

The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with the team, communicate regularly, and adapt to unexpected challenges.

  • Monitor and respond to all student inquiries via the learning management system within 24 hours
  • Rely on industry knowledge to guide students through complex assignments and questions
  • Provide prompt feedback that includes pointed questions to aid problem-solving skills
  • Work with students at various levels of expertise
  • Suggest course improvements to assigned Program Delivery Manager (PDM) and Designer
  • Communicate and collaborate with the team to enhance course delivery
Key Qualifications

Key qualifications include extensive experience in data engineering, data science, or data analytics, proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and GitHub, and experience using data visualization tools like Tableau.

Additionally, candidates should have an advanced academic background in mathematics, particularly statistics, calculus, and linear algebra, as well as excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications include experience using Slack and Teams, support/service software or ticketing systems, and bug tracking and feedback tools.
