**Job Title:** Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of junior structural engineers.
  • Coordinate with external structural engineering consultants and peers to deliver high-quality designs and projects.
  • Provide strategic direction, technical guidance and performance reviews for the structural team and consultants.
Project Management & Execution:
  • Manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely delivery of engineering designs, plans and documents within quality and cost parameters.
  • Conduct technical reviews, quality assurance checks and risk assessments for ongoing projects.
Structural Design & Analysis:
  • Lead and review the development of structural design for buildings, retaining walls and other structures.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations, load assessments and finite element analysis using software tools.
  • Validate design assumptions and methodologies against applicable international and local standards.
  • Optimize structural systems and materials.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders on structural matters.
  • Participate in design charrettes, pre-construction meetings and construction progress meetings.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals and recommendations to senior management through external consultants.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in structural engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
