Compliance Officer Job Description

This role entails overseeing compliance across various domains, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to regulatory bodies. A key responsibility is maintaining regulatory registers, tracking data, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure regulatory submissions are completed on time, coordinating with relevant parties as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory registers, ensuring alignment with business units and teams.
  • Communicate regulatory updates and changes to relevant parties, adhering to stipulated timelines.
  • Oversee license renewals for relevant entities, collaborating with stakeholders on licensing applicability and repository maintenance.
  • Issue notifications for exited parties and maintain records.
  • Manage telemarketing licenses and submit regulatory data as required.
  • Monitor and renew various licenses, including those related to sales and distribution.
  • Maintain a regulatory checklist, tracking data and ensuring timely submissions with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate reconciliation sign-offs monthly, addressing gaps identified in recon.
  • Track and maintain agreements with third-party providers.
  • Handle grievances from multiple stakeholders, maintaining a grievance register.
  • Provide audit checklists and coordinate with functional audit teams to track resolutions.
  • Conduct compliance checks on high-risk cases, providing checklists to the compliance team.
  • Bookkeep litigation cases, updating regulators as necessary.

Experience: 4-8 years in a similar domain.
