Mission of the Role

As a transformative program lead, you will be responsible for executing all aspects of program delivery for a specific customer aligned with our company's commitment, from pursuit to launch and up to service of parts. This involves creating long-term customer intimacy at multiple management levels through achieving customer satisfaction and establishing strong relationships.

Program Leads directly oversee teams of engineers covering multiple programs with potentially products spanning our entire product portfolio; and collaborate with other departments like operations, purchasing, finance, and sales.

  • Oversight and responsibility for all program deliverables with specific customers.
  • Program budget management with specific customers.
  • Resources management within your customer PD team.

Create a high-performing team culture through strong collaboration and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required

Automotive Experience > 10+ yrs, with Tier1 exp > 5y in the last 10 years.

Engineering / Program Launch Execution Experience > 10+ yrs.

Customer Facing Experience > 5 yrs.

Japanese Language must.

Launch of new products consistent with customer requirements.

Single point of contact for Program & cascade customer requirements to Project Team.

Accountable for Program profit and loss.

Accountable for negotiating the scope of new business with customer.

Lead and manage delivery, resource planning, launch coordination, change control, Project Part Tracker, and single point of contact for customer.

Identify potential issues in advance and coordinate mitigation action.

Accountable for profitability improvement through control of design changes.

Lead communication with customer during program launch.

Leading gateway reviews as part of program management.

Experience in automotive product life cycle.

Experience in SW project deliveries, product launch, design, purchasing, supplier quality, Program Management skills.

Experience with different customers (OEM's).

Manage Cross – Functional Team.

Create customer-focused strategies and value propositions.

Possess fundamental product knowledge.

Internal communication of program / business risk and status.

Should have Good Knowledge about Clusters, Infotainment and Cockpit domine controllers
