Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable and secure cloud architectures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Terraform modules for GCP infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to ensure cloud resources meet data processing, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Work closely with the Security team to ensure all infrastructure and services are compliant with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and optimize GCP costs, implementing guardrails and usage patterns to keep spending under control.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Enable observability and monitoring across services (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and custom alerts).
  • Evaluate GCP projects to ensure they follow IAM best practices, cost optimization, and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues and lead performance improvements across the platform.

Requirements:
  • 12+ years of overall operational experience.
  • 7+ years of GCP/Azure experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a diverse cloud support environment in a 24.7 production support model.
  • 3+ years DevOps/scripting/APIs experience.
