Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cloud Platform Knowledge:
    • Experience with cloud computing platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
    • In-depth understanding of OCI core services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services
    • Knowledge of building fault-tolerant architectures using OCI's availability domains, regions, and backup services
  • IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Tools:
    • Experience using Terraform for provisioning OCI resources in a repeatable and automated way
    • Proficiency with the OCI command-line interface and software development kits for automating tasks
  • Performance Tuning and Cost Optimization:
    • Understanding of OCI cost management tools to monitor and optimize the infrastructure's costs
    • Knowledge of how to scale cloud resources to optimize performance and reduce waste
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
    • Ability to diagnose issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services
    • Strong skills in analyzing logs, performance metrics, and network traces to determine the root cause of issues
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Ability to work closely with other engineers, developers, and architects to design and deploy cloud solutions
    • Skill in documenting cloud architectures, procedures, and configurations for future reference and compliance
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional certification
