A highly skilled and experienced Dairy Operations Subject Matter Expert is required to lead the establishment, commissioning, and smooth running of a dairy processing center.

The ideal candidate will bring in-depth expertise in dairy industry operations, including plant setup, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance in setting up a new dairy processing center – from plant design to commissioning.
  • Define and implement standard operating procedures for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Set up supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Provide expertise in ERP integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish key performance indicators and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between management, technical consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in dairy processing, operations, or plant management.
  • Proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
  • Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
