Job Description

The role of Executive Engineer involves overseeing all technical Integrated Facility Management (IFM) activities, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of client facilities across India. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, able to lead a large team, and possess phenomenal efficiency in maintaining problem-free and safe work environments for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 100% uptime of client facilities
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
  • Maintain and operate HVAC systems, MEP systems, and associated equipment
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations
  • Respond immediately to emergencies
  • Prepare and submit summary reports on building conditions and recommend actions
  • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems
  • Comply with safety procedures and requirements
  • Maintain compliance with city, county, and state ordinances and codes
  • Support after-hours building needs and activities as required
  • Establish Engineering & Operational procedures and roll them out for site staff
  • Establish contacts with local authorities on facility-related issues and maintain relationships
  • Responsible for legal & authorities-related compliances pertaining to facility & engineering systems
  • Plan and manage Engineering & Operational budgets
  • Carry out technical audits for installations at periodic intervals
  • Review maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors to deliver quality work
  • Responsible for planning critical spares for installations as per manufacturers' recommendations
  • Develop maintenance-related schedules and shutdowns in consultation with Clients/OEMs
  • Periodically inspect logbooks, checklists, history cards, and PPM schedules for better management of engineering systems
  • Work towards achieving zero downtime and set up seamless service delivery practices
  • Ensure landlords' compliance with statutory obligations such as CEIG, Fire, Lift, Explosives, and stability certificates
  • Set up maintenance contracts to mitigate risk to client operations
  • Implement and manage risk and safety work practices
  • Implement pre-emptive maintenance programs to reduce sudden failures of critical equipment
