Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled system professional to help build and deploy Infor HCM software services into private and public cloud. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining cloud and on-premise application deployment infrastructure.

As a key member of our team, you will provide on-call support for computer/network systems and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Development and QA team to develop, plan, and implement application deployments to internal systems
  • Driving technical innovation and efficiency in cloud and on-premise infrastructure operations via automation scripting and working with APIs
  • Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining application environment stability
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and identify and resolve technical and system design issues

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with automation using Python (or similar dynamic languages) and shell scripting
  • Experience deploying and operating Linux or other UNIX variants in a datacenter environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team in building, administering, and deploying automated systems in an Agile environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in documenting and teaching installation and configuration processes
  • Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills
