Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, availability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure using OpenStack.
  • Configure and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Ceph storage clusters for block, file, and object storage.
  • Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).
  • Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage (S3, Swift, or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments (VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing).
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
