We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data / Big Data Testing Engineer. This position requires strong expertise in data testing and validation, as well as experience with big data tools and technologies.

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and system testing life cycles (STLC), as well as experience with functional and non-functional end-to-end test cases.
  • They should also possess hands-on knowledge of databases and Linux operating systems, including file systems and application debugging.
  • In addition to technical skills, excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for big data applications and systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability of big data solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand data pipelines and architecture for effective testing.
  • Conduct data validation and data accuracy testing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and issues using big data tools and technologies.
  • Perform regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  • Identify, record, and track defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution.
