Job Title: Enterprise Platform Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the development and implementation of our platform infrastructure.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization by leading the design, development, and maintenance of our platform services.

  • Lead efforts to automate and improve deployment processes and infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in software delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment processes.

The team consists of highly skilled engineers focused on building and maintaining robust platform environments. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous improvement are key components of the team dynamic.

You are responsible for leading the architecture and design of platform services to support application development and deployment, implementing automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiencies, and monitoring system performance, making recommendations for improvements, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of platform architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and services, including load balancing, DNS, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
