We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to lead our Record to Report team. This key role involves overseeing end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger management, and month-end close activities. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and maintain compliance with accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Process Management:
  • Oversight of the Record to Report process, from initial data capture to final financial statements.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Compliance & Controls:
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Supporting audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance as needed.
  • Collaboration with finance, operations, and external stakeholders to streamline processes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Record to Report or finance operations.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior associates.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
