Job Title: Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team in U.S. property management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation and Review
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for development projects.
  • Maintain general ledgers and ensure accurate monthly and year-end closing.
  • Handle Draw Accounting Tasks
  • Draw Requests and Tracking
  • Process and Approve Payables
  • Payables and Cash Management
  • Run Aging Reports and Monitor Outstanding Balances
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Tasks
  • Process Invoices, Review Supporting Documentation, and Ensure Proper Coding and Approvals
  • Reconcile Vendor Statements and Resolve Discrepancies
  • Run Aging Reports and Follow Up with Vendors
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Record Rent and Other Receivables Accurately and On Time
  • Monitor Tenant Ledgers, Reconcile Payments, and Follow Up on Overdue Balances
  • Generate AR Aging Reports and Work with Property Managers to Reduce Delinquencies

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in U.S. property management.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Yardi.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge Areas: Development accounting, draw accounting, financial statements, wire transfers, payables, and payroll processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
