Real Estate Fund Accounting Specialist

The successful candidate will join the Fund Services team as a Real Estate Fund Accounting Specialist and will be closely working with clients and client service managers based in Asia, UK, US region in connection with the performance of duties related to the administration of real estate funds. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, property accounting, NAV calculations, and financial statement preparation of real estate funds. Additionally, they should be well-versed in Yardi and possess relevant experience in property accounting, client relationship management, preparing financials and other client reporting, and handling audit requirements and ad-hoc client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform fund accounting, property accounting-related activities of real estate funds and properties.">
  • Perform net assets value (NAV) calculations and financials of the real estate funds and properties for various client needs and different fund structures.">
  • Review and sign off management accounts and various client reporting that include booking journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and various fund-level fee calculations.">
  • Perform review and sign off interim annual NAV packs financials for real estate funds and properties, including consolidated accounts financials for SPVs and properties.">
  • Perform review fund property lease set-up, accounts payable and accounts receivable-related activities in accounting platform Yardi.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience preferably in real estate fund accounting and property accounting.">
  • Postgraduate degree in commerce or equivalent qualification.">
  • Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
