Senior Data Leader Position

The role of Senior Data Leader plays a pivotal part in driving the company's data-driven initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in SQL Server and query optimization techniques, ensuring efficient database management.
  • Expertise in application data design, process management, and data modeling to enhance data integrity and usability.
  • Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes (data extraction, transformation, and loading) to streamline data processing.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks for seamless data integration.
  • Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to handle complex data sets.
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security measures within Azure environments to ensure data safety.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

  • Experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools like Python, R, and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization, data modeling, and DAX queries, with knowledge of best practices.

Leadership and Communication Skills:

  • Ability to lead a team of developers and take ownership of deliverables, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders.
  • Able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, promoting transparency and understanding.

Skills Preferred: Data Management:

  • SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Service, and Data Marts, Microsoft Fabric for optimal data management.

ETL Tools:

  • Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Python, SSIS for efficient data processing.

Data Visualization:

  • Power BI, DAX for insightful data visualization.
