Senior Petrochemicals Expansion Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Petrochemicals Expansion Strategist to lead our petrochemicals vertical, focusing on oil rigs and exploration assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the business development strategy for our petrochemicals expansion, identifying opportunities for growth in coastal regions globally.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams – legal, finance, technical – to execute deals smoothly and ensure successful integration.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets, leveraging existing networks and strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the global petrochemical sector.
  • Drive M&A strategy end-to-end – target identification, due diligence, financial evaluation, negotiations, and integration.
  • Represent the company at international forums, trade shows, and industry conferences, promoting our petrochemicals expansion strategy.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align expansion strategies with overall business goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector.
  • Proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets or companies.
  • Deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, especially rig operations.
  • Strong global network in the petrochemical space, especially in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • MBA or relevant technical qualification preferred.
