Senior Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial analyst to support our Real Estate Investment Banking team.

  • Provide financial modeling expertise to clients in the REIT / Real Estate Industry with exposure to multiple sectors including Industrials, Consumers, Retail, and Oil & Gas.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and audit complex financial models for multifamily, office, industrial, and retail asset classes, incorporating operating and non-operating cash flow modeling, levered and debt cash flow, joint venture (JV) & waterfall analysis.
  2. Design Argus valuation models (single property and portfolio) and perform detailed cash flow and rent roll analysis.
  3. Conduct thorough valuations of commercial real estate properties using various approaches, including income capitalization (DCF & direct capitalization), sales comparison approach, and cost approach.
  4. Model REIT income statements and balance sheets, understanding revolver finance, interest expense, circularity, and future development, Funds From Operations (FFO) & Cash Available Distribution (CAD).
  5. Prepare comprehensive pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, and discussion documents focused on specific companies.
  6. Support M&A deal runs and target buyer screenings using databases like Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, FactSet.

Maintain project timelines and ensure high client satisfaction by conducting quality control checks on outgoing reports.

Develop new capabilities and research products, demonstrating strength in client relationship building and management.
