Role Summary

We are hiring a Real Estate Research Associate with strong academic grounding in Urban Planning, Architecture, or Real Estate Studies. This role supports internal teams with micro-market analysis, feasibility studies, pricing strategy, demand-supply assessment, and project positioning. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research on real estate markets, urban infrastructure projects, and government planning policies.
• Collect and analyse micro-market data: pricing, absorption, rental trends, inventory, FSI usage, and sales velocity.
• Prepare project feasibility reports, land development strategy, and market segmentation insights for upcoming launches.
• Study Town Planning Schemes, Development Plans, GDCR, and real estate regulations relevant to Ahmedabad and Gujarat.
• Collaborate with the design and execution teams on product positioning, unit mix, layout optimization, and pricing.
• Assist in the preparation of pitch decks, internal reports, and investor presentations based on real-time market intelligence.
• Conduct field surveys, site visits, and competitor benchmarking exercises.
• Use tools like Excel, PowerPoint, GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS), and AutoCAD for data visualization and spatial analysis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Must):

Only candidates with degrees in the following disciplines will be considered:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Urban Planning / Architecture / Real Estate Development / Infrastructure Planning
• Diploma or certification in Real Estate Analytics, GIS Mapping, or Urban Policy is a bonus

 Applications from finance, stock market, economics, chemical research, or unrelated academic backgrounds will NOT be considered.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of real estate asset classes (residential, commercial, plotted, mixed-use)
• Knowledge of urban development regulations, zoning laws, TDR, RERA, GDCR
• Proficiency in real estate research tools (Propstack, MagicBricks Intelligence, CRE Matrix – if applicable)
• Experience in preparing feasibility studies, market assessment reports, and data-backed recommendations
• Familiarity with QGIS/ArcGIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent skills in data visualization, research writing, and presenting findings clearly to senior stakeholders
• Basic working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is a plus
• Good command of English and Gujarati for local market interactions

• Background in working with urban planning firms, architectural consultancies, or real estate developers
• Prior experience in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, or similar Tier-1/2 cities
• Practical exposure to urban transport projects, DP schemes, or government planning departments
• Passion for sustainable development, urban design, and market intelligence
