Product Lifecycle Manager


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Lifecycle Manager to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of product lines from concept to launch.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaison between technical design teams and factories to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Monitor and ensure factories adhere to high standards of construction, fit, and workmanship throughout the development cycle.
  3. Review samples before sending to HQ, measuring, evaluating, and ensuring accuracy.
  4. Manage and communicate process and product challenges throughout the development process.
  5. Work closely with factories and production teams to resolve potential problems in advance.
  6. Assist in improving and upleveling Ariat standards by co-managing block building with vendors, reviewing and building out better tools for fit standards, and reviewing and evaluating grading.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • 10+ years of experience in garment development, including woven & knit tops, dresses, technical outerwear, tailored garments, soft bottoms, and equestrian show apparel.
  • A deep understanding of fit, patternmaking, grading, technical construction, costing, and fabrics.
  • The ability to command a room and lead projects, meetings, and fit sessions.
  • Extensive experience working with factories, including equipment, garment cutting/sewing/QA/QC process.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Adobe Illustrator, MS Office Suite, Centric PLM, and 2D/3D patternmaking systems.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
