Job Title

Transport Economist.

Our team is seeking an experienced and skilled Transport Economist to join our Transport Planning department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business case development and transport appraisal, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide high-quality advice to clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on high-profile infrastructure projects, developing business cases to secure funding, and providing analytical techniques to support project delivery.   • Develop and manage business cases for transport projects;
  • Provide analytical techniques and transport appraisal advice;
  • Work with senior staff to develop and implement transport policies;
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Train and mentor junior staff on transport appraisal techniques;

This role requires a strong understanding of transport economics, business case development, and project management principles. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients across different locations.
