Job Title:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Educator to join our team. As a STEM Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, capacity building, content development, research, and school visits.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with teachers, students, and other stakeholders to enhance their knowledge and skills in STEM fields. You will design and deliver high-quality workshops, courses, and training programs that cater to diverse needs and preferences.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach and mentor students in various STEM subjects, including mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

  • To develop and implement effective capacity-building programs for teachers, focusing on progressive pedagogical methodologies and adult learning strategies.

  • To create engaging and interactive content for workshops, courses, and training programs, incorporating relevant national and international reference materials.

  • To conduct regular training need assessments, baseline and end-line evaluations to measure program effectiveness.

  • To conceptualize, design, and conduct research projects to explore new methodologies, resources, and approaches in education.

  • To provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools, promoting effective change in teaching practices.

  • To document and report progress on allocated tasks, submitting regular training reports and classroom observation reports.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, or a related field.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

  • At least 3-6 years of experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.
