Key Business Analyst Position

This strategic role entails driving the alignment of business objectives and technology solutions, thereby fostering a collaborative environment between stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Process Optimisation

  2. Analyse and document existing business processes, systems, and operations to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reductions, and new revenue streams.

  3. Develop business models, process flows, and use cases to facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.

  4. Lead process design and optimisation efforts to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.

  5. Stakeholder Management & Insights

  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock growth opportunities.

  7. Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing business needs with technical capabilities.

  8. Facilitate workshops and meetings to help stakeholders identify problems, understand needs, and guide decision-making.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

  1. Elicit, analyse, and clearly document business and system requirements for projects.

  2. Translate complex business needs into actionable solutions and functional specifications.

  3. Prepare comprehensive business analysis documentation.

Data Analysis & Insights

  1. Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.

  2. Define and track key performance indicators to measure solution success.

  3. Support testing and implementation of new product features.

  4. Lead or participate in user acceptance testing to validate system functionality.

Strategic Planning & Solution Design

  1. Assess proposed solutions' feasibility and impact, presenting recommendations to senior management.

  2. Support business case development and proposal preparation.

Leadership & Mentoring

  1. Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance and training.

  2. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the analysis team.

The following skills are required for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from a reputable institution.
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in telecom-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of telecom business models and digital communication trends is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, business modelling, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving business needs.
