Backend Engineering Lead Role

The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in Node.js, Python, MySQL, MongoDB, and cloud technologies. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic backend engineering lead to drive technical excellence, architectural innovation, and strategic scalability.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead multiple backend engineering teams to deliver on high-impact goals, inspiring and mentoring engineers across roles and levels.
    • Mentor engineers in a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning, aligning stakeholders toward a unified vision.
    • Architect robust, large-scale backend solutions ensuring high reliability, security, and fault tolerance.
  • Excellence and Scalability:
    • Solve systemic technical challenges and implement best-in-class backend architecture aligned with long-term product vision.
    • Lead efforts in system integration and advanced backend design across multiple systems.
    • Drive initiatives to continuously improve system reliability, performance, and scalability using modern technologies.
  • Backend Innovation:
    • Pioneer backend technology strategies that align with organizational goals and product evolution.
    • Evaluate and integrate emerging backend trends to maintain technological advantage.
    • Develop and apply advanced programming skills in languages like Node.js and Python.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in Node.js, Python, MySQL, MongoDB, and other data systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in AWS, serverless frameworks, microservices architecture, and system design at scale.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
