Job Title: Power Electronics Architect

A key role is available for an accomplished Power Electronics Architect with a proven track record in designing and developing Battery Management System (BMS) hardware systems. This opportunity will challenge you to utilize your expertise in power electronics concepts, system architecture, and regulatory compliance to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create highly efficient BMS HW systems for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality modules/systems.
  • Work closely with customers to provide solutions for complex use cases.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cutting-edge power electronics concepts and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 12-14 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on power electronics.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience in developing BMS for energy storage applications.
  • Hands-on knowledge of architecting power electronics concepts for BMS.
  • Expertise in design knowledge of digital circuit design, analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and DSPs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries, including UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730.
  • Familiarity with PCB layout constraints.
  • Experience working with simulation tools like P-Spice, Matlab, and Mathcad.
  • Proficiency in FMEA and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with sensing technologies and hardware peripherals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of safety regulatory standards like IEC61508 and ISO26262.
