Hardware Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive the development of next-generation automotive audio systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in selecting and recommending semiconductor solutions, designing and developing electronic components and systems, and ensuring seamless integration with vehicle technology.

The selected individual will be responsible for driving the HW architecture and component selection/decision, selecting and recommending next-generation semiconductor solutions, and designing and developing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems. Additionally, they will work closely with vehicle Architecture/system Design, safety engineer & Buyer/purchasing to ensure chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of relevant automotive safety and quality standards, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100. They will also collaborate with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology roadmap. Furthermore, they will support HW Engineering group during advanced design phases, system architecture definitions, and ECU development/Qualifications.

Key Requirements:

  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural role.
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment system, Audio system, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems, and ECU design, development, and testing.
  • Experience in Automotive ECU design, Audio standards, automotive testing, and certification.
