Job Title: Automotive Electronics Hardware Leadership Position

The role of Automotive Electronics Hardware Director involves leading the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle OEMs. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the electronics hardware team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee electrical hardware design and development, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Review customer specifications and design requirements to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Lead the design and development of automotive products using microcontrollers, system-on-chip (SOC), high-speed memory, and advanced circuitry.
  • Develop and maintain schematic and assembly drawings, utilizing structured problem-solving techniques for efficient design.
  • Perform worst-case analysis and simulations to guarantee compliance with industry standards.
  • Support product design reviews and testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues that may arise.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Laboratory equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multi-meters.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital control logic, linear and switching power supplies.
  • Experience with electronic computer-aided design (ECAD) software and change management structures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
