Patch Engineering Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned Patch Engineer to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in patch management, with a strong focus on PowerShell scripting, MECM, SCCM, and Qualys tool.

  • Develop and implement customized remediation scripts using PowerShell.
  • Configure and manage MECM and SCCM for patching and remediation activities.
  • Deploy security patches, maintain compliance, and mitigate vulnerabilities using MECM/SCCM.
  • Prioritize patches based on criticality, including zero-day vulnerabilities and past-due updates.
  • Validate successful patch deployments and ensure systems meet patch compliance standards.
  • Remediate patch vulnerabilities using Qualys tool.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills are essential.

Experience with BigFix is considered an added asset.

About the Role

This is a highly technical position that requires expertise in patch management, software deployment, and vulnerability remediation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing customized remediation scripts using PowerShell, configuring and managing MECM and SCCM for patching and remediation activities, deploying security patches, maintaining compliance, and mitigating vulnerabilities using MECM/SCCM.

The selected candidate will prioritize patches based on criticality, including zero-day vulnerabilities and past-due updates, validate successful patch deployments, and ensure systems meet patch compliance standards. They will also remediate patch vulnerabilities using Qualys tool and possess excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patching and Remediation: Develop and implement customized remediation scripts using PowerShell, configure and manage MECM and SCCM for patching and remediation activities, deploy security patches, maintain compliance, and mitigate vulnerabilities using MECM/SCCM.
  • Patch Prioritization: Prioritize patches based on criticality, including zero-day vulnerabilities and past-due updates.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: Remediate patch vulnerabilities using Qualys tool.
  • Troubleshooting and Documentation: Possess excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Favorable Experience: Familiarity with BigFix is an added advantage.
