Job Description:
  • Plan, review and execute all core data center activities such as cabling, new rack installations and physical infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure efficient layout and structured cabling for optimal airflow, power distribution and equipment access.

Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Configuration Management Database.

Coordinate with IT teams, vendors and facilities management for scheduled installations and maintenance.

Conduct periodic audits of data center assets, racks and cabling infrastructure.

Follow and enforce data center policies, standards and safety protocols.

Provide documentation and reports related to changes, deployments and incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in data center operations, including cabling, rack installations and physical infrastructure upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management databases and their importance in maintaining data center accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with IT teams, vendors and facilities management.
  • Ability to conduct thorough audits and identify areas for improvement.
