Job Title: Billing and Cash Operations Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash transactions, generating bills and invoices, and maintaining accurate records of payments and receivables.

  • Utilize ERP systems to identify outstanding accounts and generate bills and invoices specific to customers
  • Deliver invoices to clients via digital and traditional services
  • Reconcile all payments with invoices
  • Receive and sort incoming payments, including cash, DC/CC, online payments, and UPI
  • Manage petty cash and maintain an accurate record of expenses
  • Identify any inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in ERP
  • Regularly update receivables specific to customers
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve problems
  • Submit all cash collected to the concerned authority at the end of the day
  • Reconcile all payments received at the end of the day
  • Prepare and submit Daily Sales Reports to the Accounts team
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports and present them to the Reporting Authority

Additional responsibilities may include adhering to customer satisfaction levels, following company policies and protocols, and maintaining excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Understanding of accounting software/ERP such as Oracle/SAP
  • Strong computational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work productively without oversight
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of office software and machinery
  • Key Skills and Competencies:
  • 1 year of experience as a Billing Executive at a large format store
  • Understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations
  • Passion for numbers and financial data
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
