Job Title: Secure Network Infrastructure Specialist

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across enterprise environments.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional who can ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data by defending against network-based threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems.
  • Monitor network traffic and security events using IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms.
  • Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to investigate and remediate network-related incidents.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for network infrastructure.
  • Ensure secure configuration and patching of routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Lead network segmentation and zero-trust initiatives to reduce attack surface.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of experience in network security engineering or architecture.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP).
  • Experience with IDS/IPS tools (e.g., Snort, Suricata, Cisco Firepower).
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm).
  • Familiarity with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and secure remote access.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and security controls (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump).
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and security tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with network access control solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass).
  • Exposure to SOAR platforms for automated incident response.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework for network threat mapping.
  • Experience with compliance audits (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
