API Automation Test Lead/Senior Tester

Overview:

Our organization is seeking a seasoned API Automation Test Lead/Senior Tester to join our team. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive test automation strategies across multiple platforms.

Job Description:
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Design and implement efficient test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation, adapting approaches as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of experience in software testing, preferably in Java and API automation.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java development, with expertise in building Scenarios with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Specflow).
  • Strong coding skills in Java/JavaScript, with hands-on experience in PostMan/RestAssured/Karate.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and SQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
