Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer to make a meaningful impact on our product's quality and user experience. You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, automate, and execute unit and functional tests using C# and Python.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to ensure robust and scalable backend services.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely feedback to improve product quality.
Requirements
  • Deep expertise in C#, including software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven experience developing, automating, and executing unit and functional tests.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), test lifecycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries.
