Job Title: Tech Risk

 

Job Description:

As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating compliance and operational risks. You will provide expert guidance to technology-aligned process owners, ensuring that implemented controls are operating effectively and in line with regulatory standards.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and Regulators. Your advanced knowledge of risk management principles will enable you to drive innovative solutions and manage a diverse team in a dynamic and evolving risk landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective identification, quantification, communication, and management of technology risk.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with LOB technologists, assessment teams, and data officers to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Execute reporting and governance of controls, policies, issue management, and measurements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in tech risk controls and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Expertise in technology risk management, information security, or related fields, emphasizing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Experience in risk identification, assessment, and control evaluation, and threat modeling with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop and implement risk mitigation and threat modeling strategies, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or similar industry-recognized risk certifications.
  • Familiarity with threat modeling initiatives and integrating them into broader risk management frameworks.
