Digital Asset Management Lead

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Digital Asset Management (DAM) lead to oversee the implementation and management of our digital asset system. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in DAM technologies, a strong understanding of digital asset workflows, and the ability to lead a team in delivering a scalable and efficient DAM solution.

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and configuration of the DAM system to meet the requirements of a global platform.
  • Develop and maintain the digital asset taxonomy, metadata schema, and governance policies to support efficient organization, retrieval, and use of digital assets.
  • Manage and mentor a team of DAM administrators, librarians, and asset managers, ensuring best practices in digital asset management are followed.
  • Oversee the integration of the DAM system with other systems such as CMS, PIM, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will work closely with global stakeholders to ensure that the DAM system supports the needs of diverse regions and aligns with overall business objectives.
  • They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for multilingual and localized assets, working closely with regional teams to adapt asset management strategies for different markets.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for establishing asset governance frameworks, including user roles, permissions, and approval workflows, to maintain asset quality and consistency across the platform.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Digital Media, Library Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital asset management or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of DAM platforms and experience with their architecture, customization, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of digital asset workflows, metadata standards, taxonomy development, and asset lifecycle management.
