Reliability Expert

The role of Reliability Expert involves providing technical support for maintaining the reliability of assets. The position requires implementing asset management plans, analyzing data to improve maintenance programs and conducting root cause failure analysis.

Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
  • Five to 10 years' experience with RCM, CbM/PdM methods and operating building automation systems is necessary.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and ability to use computerized maintenance management systems is desired.

Strong interpersonal skills and a systematic approach to work are essential for success in this role. Self-awareness, flexibility and an open-minded approach to working are also beneficial.

Key Skills
  • Ability to make informed recommendations based on incomplete data sets.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data accurately.
Certifications & Licenses
  • Certified Reliability Leader or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Implement asset management plans and analyze data to improve maintenance programs.
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis and investigate new technologies for reliability improvements.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and create and conduct Reliability studies.
  • Plan and perform engineering operations and monitor operations center systems.
