Production Chemist Job

The role of production chemist involves the preparation and execution of chemical production batches, following standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and consistent product quality.

To achieve this goal, you will safely manage pyrophoric reagents and operate pressure reactors in line with company policies. You will also perform filtration of low-melting solids and apply optimal filtration techniques. Additionally, you will report deviations from specifications and work with senior chemists to troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation and execution of chemical production batches.
  2. Safe management of pyrophoric reagents and operation of pressure reactors.
  3. Filtration of low-melting solids and application of optimal filtration techniques.
  4. Reporting deviations from specifications and troubleshooting with senior chemists.
  5. Maintenance of accurate records of production activities.
  6. Generation of reports and summaries as required by production and quality control teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in chemistry from a reputed university with high academic achievements.
  2. Up to 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical production sector.
  3. Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively as part of a team.
  4. Desire to gain experience in leading and contributing to production.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and creative mindset to drive innovation and overcome scientific challenges.

Physical Demands:

The employee must monitor production processes, observe deviations in chemical reactions, possess strong visual acuity, fine motor skills, and physical endurance to stand or move across the production floor.
