MEP Designer Role Summary

This MEP Designer position requires a skilled professional to prepare detailed MEP drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) using Autocad.

  • Develop accurate MEP layout drawings using Autodesk Revit for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and low-voltage systems.
  • Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for clash detection and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare BOQs for MEP services aligned with design and execution requirements.
  • Support tendering processes with technical documentation.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with vendors and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
  • 4–5 years of relevant hands-on experience with Revit MEP in commercial/office space projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM coordination.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience preparing BOQs and technical documentation for tendering.
  • Excellent understanding of building services codes and industry standards.
