Job Title: Senior Building Structure Designer

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Structure Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing project-specific implementation strategies and collaborating with project teams to ensure BIM success.
  • As a senior designer, you will handle or lead multiple projects with the help of Project Designers and assist in preparing BIM Guidelines for project-specific requirements.
  • You will create and maintain BIM Models for Project-Specific Requirements, identify conflicts, incomplete or ambiguous design information, and discuss with engineering teams and coordinate with other discipline teams.
  • Attend or manage model coordination meetings, document project preconstruction/BIM meetings, and generate BIM documents for construction/bidding purposes.
  • Maintain BIM standards and design templates to ensure quality and consistency of design environment and deliverables throughout various offices worldwide.
  • Review and QA/QC project deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute, or university.
  • Min. 6+ years of experience
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well independently at times.
  • Able to see the bigger picture and take a birds-eye view of projects.
  • Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Accountability for assigned work.
  • Accuracy & precision of work.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Work well within a multidisciplinary team.
