Migration Expert Wanted

As a key member of our data migration team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming and migrating data systems to ensure seamless transitions.

You will analyze and assess existing systems to develop comprehensive migration plans using Python and other technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration goals and requirements, design and implement robust migration solutions that minimize disruption and align with organizational objectives.

Develop scripts and tools in Python to automate and streamline migration processes. Ensure that all migrated systems meet performance, security, and compliance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues providing technical expertise and support throughout the process.

Document migration processes, architectural decisions, and configurations for future reference. You will bring:

  • Proven experience of 3 years in a migration engineer or similar role with a strong focus on Python programming skills
  • Strong proficiency in Python with experience in libraries and frameworks commonly used in data migration and processing
  • Familiarity with database systems, SQL, NoSQL, and experience in data transformation and migration
  • Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical challenges
  • Experience with version control systems Git and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
