Job Opportunity: Linux Systems Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux systems administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing Linux operating systems and a strong understanding of system administration principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Linux systems, including RedHat 6/7/8 and CentOS
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues
  • Implement security measures to protect system integrity and data
  • Develop and implement scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of systems and services
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education/training
  • Strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals, including file systems, permissions, and process management
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure (nice to have)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
