Linux Infrastructure Engineer

The primary function of this role is to design, implement, and maintain Linux infrastructure systems for our organization. This includes building and installing computer infrastructure, monitoring client systems daily, and pinpointing problem areas.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain Linux operating systems on physical and virtual machines
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and patching
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Create and maintain documentation for all system-related processes and procedures
  • Work closely with different teams to validate system operability and performance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in Redhat/Centos
  • Expert level knowledge of UNIX/Linux (L3)
  • Expert level knowledge on automation/configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Python
  • Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
  • Performance troubleshooting and capacity planning
  • Troubleshooting, Installation, maintenance, and tuning of Linux / Unix OS
  • Strong knowledge on server hardware and software
