Job Description:

Linux System Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux operating systems and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux-related issues
  • Develop and implement scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Requirements:

  • Profound knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Xen, VMware)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with automation tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance regulations
