We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Varun Beverages Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing business plans, and implementing sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.

About the Role

\

In this role, you will work closely with senior management to develop yearly account plans (AOPs), negotiate contracts, and monitor performance. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, including senior management and purchasing teams.

Responsibilities

\

- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, including national accounts like KFC/Pizza Hut/PVR/Fame chain and institutional accounts like Big Bazaar chain, Reliance Chain, Spencer Group, More, and local players
- Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth, including identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business plans
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these gaps

Requirements

\

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in the beverage industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Experience with sales analytics and performance monitoring, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these gaps
