Forecasting ManagerJob Description:

We are seeking an experienced Forecasting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering forecasting solutions to internal customers, providing qualitative and quantitative analytics to support data-enabled decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of disease and therapy areas and their application to forecasting. They will also have expertise in handling datasets, including IQVIA, Evaluate, IPD, DRG, etc., and experience in utilizing data and quantitative analytics to generate insights and refine forecast catalogues.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate inputs, and ensure forecast accuracy and consistency. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide training/mentoring/guiding junior members in the team and contribute to proposal writing and managing complex business problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Conduct bottom-up forecasts using internal data, IQVIA, and/or local databases for Region Europe countries.
  • Implement forecast accuracy KPIs to track forecast changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate inputs, and ensure forecast accuracy and consistency.
  • Support multiple markets including Region, Clusters, and/or Countries, including forecast creation/review, portfolio analysis, and portfolio database maintenance.
  • Integrate information from different internal and external data sources available and support the maintenance of portfolio databases.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in Epi-based forecasting for Inline, Pipeline, and BD&L Products/Brands and Trend-Based Forecasting.
  • Deeper understanding of disease and Therapy Area and its application to forecasting.
  • Experience in managing data, analyzing trends, and utilizing quantitative analytic techniques to generate insights and refine forecast catalogues.
  • Application of EU Market Access, Healthcare, and Price & Reimbursement policies for forecast development.
  • Deep understanding of Secondary Research to support and validate assumptions made in the forecast development.
  • Expertise in handling datasets - IQVIA, Evaluate, IPD, DRG, etc.
  • Effective forecast storyboarding, gathering key insights backed by relevant data.
  • Utilize Data and Quantitative Analytics, conduct Business Analysis, and perform Analog Analysis to drive forecast accuracy.
  • Support the team in proposal writing and managing complex business problems.
  • Train/mentor/guide junior members in the team.
