Energy Storage Service Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support during mechanical and electrical tasks throughout the commissioning phase of energy storage projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients on-site, including liaising with subcontractors when necessary.
  • Collaborate with various professionals to implement a detailed commissioning schedule, working closely with overseas colleagues.
  • Generate daily and weekly reports, monitoring and addressing any deviations from the planned schedule.
  • Engage in follow-up meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, coordinating with professionals from diverse disciplines.
  • Oversee the installation of energy storage structures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in preventive and reactive maintenance activities for energy storage infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of technical experience in electrical projects (substations, power lines, or LV/MV cables). Experience with Energy Storage infrastructure is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of BESS PCS and all related supporting and subcomponents.
  • Solid experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
