Strategic Category Manager for HVAC Solutions

This is a dynamic leadership role that requires expertise in shaping and executing procurement strategies for HVAC components. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of procurement, from supplier selection to contract negotiation and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HVAC category strategy aligned with business goals to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and supply continuity.
  • Lead strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation, performance, and long-term value creation.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate risks.
  • Foster early supplier involvement and co-development to accelerate innovation and enhance product competitiveness.
  • Oversight of the full procurement lifecycle, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and end-to-end procurement.
  • Align sourcing strategies with engineering, manufacturing, and regional procurement teams to support existing operations and new product introductions.
  • Track and report on key category performance indicators, including cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or MBA in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field from top University.
  • 10+ years of experience managing procurement in various domains, preferably in the HVAC industry, especially in data center cooling business.
  • Proven success in managing distributed, global teams and experience working in a strategic environment.
